+ ABOUT OUR GUEST: Dr. Joyce del Rosario (she/her/siya) leads Multi-Ethnic Programs as the director at Seattle Pacific University, since the summer of 2022. Raised in Seattle, she is excited to plant roots in Seattle once again. Prior to this, she served as assistant professor of at the Pacific School of Religion (PSR) in Berkeley, California. Dr. del Rosario stepped into higher education at PSR after serving over 20 years in urban youth ministry. She has been the executive director of New Creation Home Ministries, a residential and outreach program for teen moms, and an area director for Young Life where she worked with low-income and immigrant communities. Joyce also served as a national board member for CCDA. She earned her bachelors from the University of Washington, an MDIV from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a ThM and PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Her favorite activity is sharing delicious food with friends and family.
